Are you interested in keeping children's playgrounds smoke-free? The Tot-Lot Law, established in January 2002, prohibits smoking and disposing of cigarettes in and around children's playgrounds. Help your local law enforcement by surveying your neighborhood playgrounds for tobacco usage and tobacco-related litter. This project can include a survey of local playgrounds and recommendations for your city council to post proper signage.
