AWARENESS FOR ANTI-THEFT,
PRO-RESPECT & ANTI-GRAFFITI

Fullerton Boys & Girls Club Friday Night Live Kids chapter just finished working on an awareness project for anti-theft and pro-respect. Their campaign included making posters, sharing with peers about respect, and being the example!

Currently, Fullerton Boys & Girls Club FNL Kids chapter members are working on an anti-graffiti project. Chapter members decided graffiti was abundant and want to create awareness of this problem in the community. As a first step, the chapter members developed surveys to be administered to their peers asking where the graffiti is located, how they feel about tagging, and if they know about the laws against graffiti. Chapter members will educate their peers on resources for graffiti, including city clean up resources and graffiti hot line numbers, by listing them in their Boys and Girls Club newsletter. The information will also make parents aware of how they can help keep their community and school clean of graffiti.

The Orange County Friday Night Live Partnership (OCFNLP) is administered by Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) and
funded by the County of Orange Health Care Agency, Alcohol and Drug Education and Prevention Team (ADEPT).
