• Follow community service projects with a fun activity, as a reward for involvement
• Select younger members to go to trainings, etc. so they are ready to run the club for a year or so.
• Start with freshman or 6th graders and build from there
• Reach out to the "nvisible kids"- the ones who don't belong to many clubs and need opportunities to be leaders on their campus. Ask teachers or counselors to refer youth.

• Write out the agenda and post it to keep youth focused
• Set up the room ahead of time
• Post the vision/goals of the chapter
• Only have 1-3 agenda items for each meeting
• Plan ahead so the leaders know what the agenda is and are ready to run the meeting
• Have a flyer with all miscellaneous announcements that they can take with them and read later

• Have a training on how to run a meeting, create an agenda, etc.
• Let the students plan activities step-by-step and use a calendar to estimate how much meeting/planning time they will need
• Have one person be in charge of the agenda and select certain members to plan each event
